Annabella – Sailing Naxos Cruises

Location: Naxos Town port, opposite Rendez-vous café

We meet at 08:15 in the yacht “ANNABELLA” in front of the café RENDEZVOUS in Naxos Town and return at about 18:00.
Depending on the weather forecast and of course your own requests, we set sail for Paros island.

On our way, you will have the opportunity to see the south part of Paros and all its beautiful bays. We will stop for a short stop in Piso Livadi port and then continue towards Trypiti bay for swim and snorkeling either in the Pirates Bay before reaching out the Panteronisia Islands (Blue Lagoon) which will be our final destination.  Later on, as we are sailing back we will arrive to our final stop in the picturesque Piso Livadi port.

You have plenty of time to either swim or take a walk to the attractive village and have your lunch while gazing the at the quaint Piso Livadi port. Please note that food and drinks at the local taverns are not included in the price.

Afterwards, we are sailing back to Naxos, arriving at about 18:00.

During our whole trip, while sailing towards Paros and towards Blue Lagoon (always depending on weather conditions) and if we are lucky enough, we can even see dolphins, sea turtles or cormorants cruising alongside our luxury sailing yacht “Annabella”!

Throughout our sailing experience, we also offer a DVD, FREE of charge, for each of our guests, containing a full HD photo and video coverage, taken with our professional waterproof cameras of 16 MP. What better way to go back home with a vibrant memento from your Naxos Sailing adventure!

We provide you with all of the equipment you will need including masks and snorkels, noodles, waterproof flashlights, raincoats, life jackets, waterproof cameras and information about the surrounding islands with historical places, monuments and monasteries. We also provide sailing lessons, very comfortable cushions on sun deck and a warm Smile.

We set sail at 08:15 for the tiny island of Kato Koufonisi, which through the millennia has been hollowed out by the tides into an intricate lattice of tunnels and caves filled with crystal clear waters of the Aegean Sea.

DESCRIPTION

We set sail at 08:15 for the tiny island of Kato Koufonisi, which through the millennia has been hollowed out by the tides into an intricate lattice of tunnels and caves filled with crystal clear waters of the Aegean Sea. Weather permitting, we cast anchor for a while to enjoy an exploratory swim in the cave. Naturally we will provide you with free equipment for snorkeling, noodles and life vests.

We then sail to Pano Koufonisi. Here you have the opportunity to enjoy a stately walk in the narrow streets while take photos of the island or visit the largest fishing fleet in our area to capture some artistic snaps of the fishing trawlers. You may instead wish to continue swimming in the caves or in the clear waters lapping the sandy beach in the front of tavern and then make a point of enjoying the local traditional dishes. Please note that food and drinks at the local taverns are not included in the price. 

Once we have taken our fill of this little gem of an island, we sail back and stop for another cool dip in Rina cave (see previous tour).

In the afternoon we set sail back to Naxos arriving at the capital by 18:00.

We set sail at 08:15. One of Naxos’ most beautiful sea caves is at Rina bay, where you will get the chance for a cool swim under a rock dome. We provide you with free equipment for snorkeling, plus waterproof camera and waterproof flashlights.

DESCRIPTION

We set sail at 08:15. One of Naxos’ most beautiful sea caves is at Rina bay, where you will get the chance for a cool swim under a rock dome. We provide you with free equipment for snorkeling, plus waterproof camera and waterproof flashlights. Our adventure starts with a dive into the sea and a short swim towards the cave. Upon entering the cave the silent underwater world explodes into color with corals and red fish. At the roof of the caves you can admire the stalactites lining the dome which bats, sparrows and doves use as their hideout. Climb up the high cave entrance and jump down into the sea or take photos to share with your friends and family.

We then sail on to Kalados bay, where a pristine secluded beach awaits just for you to imprint your footsteps on the long sandy beach or swim in the clear blue waters.

Later on, you can relax in the hospitality of Dimitris and his family as they prepare your lunch or barbeque at their tavern while you take in the superb view with a cool drink of your choice. Please note that food and drinks at the local taverns are not included in the price.

A great alternative, weather permitting, is to set sail for the Small Cyclades, Iraklia or Schinoussa, where for a couple of hours you can choose to explore the village, take photos, visit the rolling hills.  If Iraklia is your choice instead, you have opted for a soothing experience on the most laid back island. Iraklia offers marked hiking trails and the most intriguing of all Cycladic caves, the cave of St. John.

A visit to St. John’s cave also offers the opportunity for a swim at the nearby beach where you can snorkel around the rocky outcrops, where sea life likes to hide and later on enjoy your lunch at the beachfront tavern.

By late afternoon we set sail back to Naxos and time allowing, we can stop for a swim at a sheltered bay before arriving at the capital by 18:00.

We meet to set sail for Paros Island. On the way there we stop at a small sheltered bay to enjoy a swim and snorkeling around the rocks and a small cave.

Afterwards, depending of the weather, we set sail for the tiny picturesque fishing village of Pisso Livadi where time allowing, you could also visit the folklore museum in Marpissa village, only a 10 min walk from Pisso Livadi. Alternatively we could head for Naoussa on Paros Island, where we anchor in the sheltered bay of the Agios Ioanis Detis peninsula.

While at Paros you can visit the villages, take photos, swim in the waters off the sandy beaches of Logaras and enjoy fresh fish and various local traditional dishes. At the end of all this, you can rest at the seafront cafeteria contemplating the vista of the Aegean Sea while sipping coffee. Please note that food and drinks at the local taverns are not included in the price.

In the afternoon we set sail back to Naxos arriving at the capital by 18:00. In our sailing tour we offer free WI-FI for your pleasure.

Also we offer the option with additional cost to rent a car from Piso Livadi or Naousa to explore the island for a couple of hours if needed.
